My JAIMS Experience

I was brought to Hawaii, from Korea, as a EWKLP Scholar at JAIMS. The experience has completely changed most things about me, for the good. Hawaii is for me an immersive experience: one could not help but get better for a fact of the diverse cultural occurrences that happen daily.
I believe that Hawaii, and especially Honolulu, is one of the finest places in the world to study business. This is for the simple reason of the sheer amount of various cultures going on. Furthermore, studying at a place like JAIMS means you work with and learn from your peers of all different backgrounds.
Supporting young business people at the beginning of their career means investing and encouraging the new generation, focusing on their talent and helping them to develop into individuals who one day might even be able to become role models themselves.
I am currently in the last week of EWKLP study and enjoy being able to study here. I am really grateful that Fujitsu has given me such a fantastic opportunity. Here I have excellent lectures, which give me wonderful and precious experiences. Also, the field trips and cultural events (such as Halloween party & international night) gave me a lot of inspirational and unique experiences.
I had a wonderful time at JAIMS and took part in as many opportunities as I could, trying to be proactive. I made many good friends. The quality of the other students was amazing and it gave me an appetite to work harder.
The case study opportunities are also plentiful, testing how quickly I can prepare a case study, one per day in the extreme case! The teaching is the best in the region and the classes are high profile with teachers of real life experience from all over the world, i.e., U.S., Japan, Europe, South America, etc. As I mentioned earlier, my fellow students are of the highest standard in the region, plus we get to live in possibly the most culturally diverse place in the world…
